Love to Crochet

I have been crocheting since I was nine years old.  Its been so much fun to create things over the years.
During the last few years my carpal tunnel has gotten worse and I just cant crochet as much as I used to.  Its pretty sad.
I still feel the need to crochet, it just has to be done at certain times with plenty of rest in between.  Sometimes its not so much fun getting older, lol.

Anyone out there that suffers from this and is crafty?  How do you deal with the pain and numbness?

Needing to Create

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always felt a need to create!  I enjoy coming up with new things and fun ideas to keep kids entertained.
Growing up, my father was not around much.  He was a long distance truck driver so we didnt see him much.
When my parents divorced, my mother was forced back into work to support six kids!  I was the oldest so it was my job to take care of things while mom was working.  She worked two full time jobs to try and make enough money.  We didnt get much child support for a lot of years until the courts forced my dad to pay it.
So while being the oldest, I learned to keep myself busy and keep my brothers and sisters busy and out of trouble.
When I reached the status of mom I was thrilled!  Secretly I was hoping for a girl for my first child.  The good Lord blessed me with a daughter and when my first daughter was 4 months old, the Lord blessed me with another daughter!  My girls are 13 months apart!
I was ready for a boy and my third child was boy.  He keeps me busy for sure.  I am pretty sure he is on a seek and destroy mission every day.
When my girls had enough hair, I went to Wal-mart and bought some hair flowers and while they were pretty, they became matted and looked horrible after a few wears.
I started making my girls hair flowers as a result of this.  I needed every day flowers that would last.
I love the huge flowers with feathers and all that neat stuff but I really dont have any place where my girls would wear it, except to get pictures done.  I wanted flowers and bows that they could wear everywhere and everyday.
My supply was getting big and that is when someone suggested I sell them.
L & A Little Flowers was born.
L----Lizzie
A----Ally

Named for my girls.  I love them and I am grateful for the chance to sell what I create.  I love doing this!
